Approximately 12,000 area students are served by 17 schools in the award-winning Marana Unified School District. Gladden Farms Elementary School, which opened in August 2015 for grades K-6, is the first computer science immersion school in Arizona.The district is home to a number of “A+” schools and “National Blue Ribbon” schools, and consistently delivers small class sizes and high test scores. Specialized learning opportunities are available to students of all ages, and learning facilities are supported by high-speed and wireless infrastructure.

You’ll find just about everything you need in Marana’s main shopping districts, just off I-10 at the Twin Peaks and Cortaro Farms exits. The new Tucson Premium Outlet Mall is now open. Many national chains like Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart and Kohl’s are a ten-minute drive from Gladden Farms. In addition to national retail chains, a variety of small locally owned businesses such as coffee houses and restaurants are nearby.
Located just a mile north of Gladden Farms is the heart of Marana, anchored by a new health center and Town administration building. The Marana Health Center offers comprehensive care for adults and children, as well as pharmacy and dental services. The Municipal Complex next door houses Marana’s police department, courts and administration offices.
